Cyd LeVin

PARTNER

Cyd started her career in the 1980s at Don Buchwald & Associates and quickly made her mark on the industry. As both a talent and literary agent, she signed and worked with a who’s who of actors, writers and directors.

With a desire to create her own version of talent representation, Cyd moved to Los Angeles in the 90s to open the first incarnation of CLA with a single client. Cyd’s roster would then grow to include more than 150 actors across Film, Television and Broadway.

After 30+ years in the business, Cyd’s achievements are undeniable: including taking an unknown kid and helping him to become the biggest name in television and producing films. Developing clients is an area of passion for Cyd, and she takes great pride in the many A-List actors who she had the joy of aiding at the starts of their careers. Seeing a young artist book their first major gig is still an unparalleled experience for her.

Of all her accomplishments though, the one she is proudest of, is partnering with Harold Lewter and re-defining the CLA Management Style. They have created a company that centers around equality and is open to all artists regardless of race, religion, nationality, sexual preference, or identity. It is this legacy and the CLA name that Cyd hopes will carry on into the future.

Harold Lewter

PARTNER

The roots of Harold’s career as a Talent Manager and Development Strategist trace back to his time spent coaching Junior Team Tennis, where he coached teams to multiple wins at the metro, regional, sectional and national level. It was there that he began to hone his skills as a coach. However, it wasn’t until he met Maria S. Horne at the University at Buffalo, that he began to fully tap into his knack for unlocking the artists true potential; assistant directing Rebecca Gellman’s Spinning Into Butter. While in his senior year Harold was awarded the Promising Artist of the 21st Century Award, and was afforded the opportunity to teach and perform in Costa Rica.

In 2009, Harold began his talent representative career as an intern at the now defunct Independent Artists Agency, where he met his business partner and mentor Cyd LeVin. Following the closing of the agency he joined forces with Cyd to re-open the management company Cyd LeVin & Associates, and to help in transitioning Stage actors to Television and Film. In 2018, Harold was made a Partner and in December of 2019 ahead of the company’s 10th anniversary, Cyd LeVin & Associates rebranded and became CLA PARTNERS to reflect that partnership. His clients can be seen in major shows/productions on and off Broadway, National Tours, Television and in Film. Harold is also an active member of the Television Academy.

Matilda Bailey

TALENT COORDINATOR

Matilda began her career as a theatre actor in Australia frequently working with the State Theatre Company of South Australia. Her love of learning and voice work took her to London where she obtained a master's degree in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2016 and subsequently taught voice & speech at her alma mater ACArts. A detour into in the world of tech opened her eyes to the joys of working in administrative roles, so she packed up and moved to New York in order to help talented artists build their careers. She comes to CLA Partners direct from Henderson Hogan.
